Inkhorn words

Inkhorn wordsare words borrowed into the English tongue from other tongues such as Latin, Greek, and French. The lot of the English tongue's inkhorn words came into being in the 1500-1600s, as many writers saw it fit to brook outlandish words in their wordstock.
