What is Anglish?
Anglish is linguistic purism in English. The Anglish movement seeks to remove borrowed words from foreign languages, and instead use native English words.
For example:
Dictionary > Wordbook
Famous > Nameknown
Computer > Reckoner
This is achieved by simply choosing to use a native word over a borrowed word, or if there is no modern native word, Old English words can be revived and updated to modern spelling to be used for a modern meaning.
